Glass fusing in the tropics
What to do in samara between sunburns: Fused glass art.
Casa Gecko Glass studio is where I work with colored and recycled glass
to produce useful works of art, mostly platters and bowls.
Two days each week, the studio is open for classes: 10,000 colones ($20.00).
Votive candle holders are popular as a first time project.
Or a 6″ square plate.
Glass fusing is a great family activity.
Or for honeymooners, making coordinating art pieces to jump-start their home decor.

Reservations are required because of space restrictions.

Beautiful! Once our house is finished I want one! Do they sell the work also?
Gecko Glass work is available for sale at two locations in Samara. The Dragonfly Gallery is on the main street into town, east side of the street by Coc’s Mexican Restaurant. Samara Organics is at the Natural Center, one block east and on the corner of the beach street near the school. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, call me (2656-1010)cause I have a few things here at the studio.
Wow, those are really pretty!
I really love the look of the votive holders! Especially the last picture of green ones. Very pretty!
Yeah. Connie did a great job on her matching pair of votives.
