Turquoise Browed MotMot
This beautiful bird flew into our screened porch this morning. She let me pick her for a brief photo before release. Youcan just see her raquet-tipped tail between my arms. Didn’t seem to be hurt.

Special treat to be able to hold such a beautiful creature!
Lavae, I was able to hold a humming bird that knocked itself out flying into the kitchen window. It regained consciousness, flutered it’s wings & flew off. Sadly to day I found the 2nd dove in the last week drowned in
the pool after flying into the sliding glass door’s above the pool. I’m glad you’re story had a happier ending!
Better open those doors above the pool.
She was quite relaxed. i guess Iwasabetter alternative to the dog.
