Pipa Pipa

agua de pipaIt’s Pipa Time again in Samara. Fresh green coconut water – not the rich milk you buy in a can for your Pina Coladas. I’m talking about the enzyme and mineral filled juice of the green coconut that’s good for what ails you – “Super Food”. Agua de Pipa is available on the beach most mornings for $1 or 500 colones. The guy with the machete will open it up for you and let you choose a straw.   I brought mine home and served it in a pre-chilled glass.  Have one every morning.
