SamaRun success
SamaRun last Sat. 12 Oct. was a big success.
132 participants competed in 5k and 10 K runs.
The 10 K route started on the beach at low tide.
We got great shirts for our troubles.
The event was sponsored by CASATUR (Camara Samarena de Turismo y Desarrollo Comunitario which means Samara Chamber of Tourism and Community Development).
The proceeds will be split 50/50 to remodel the cafeteria at the public school and to continue with regular beach cleaning.
I walked the 5K route with friends.
But Peter ran it. You still got it!
