El Mango has been Great!  Love everything about it.  Yes, we had bug/insect visitors (scorpion & tarantula) but we didn’t freak out too bad.  Just knew to keep a lookout for ‘em.  We enjoyed every activity we did.  Loved eating at Las Brisas del Pacifico & Gustos.

Gracias a todo!  Casa Mango was great.  We spent one week here while taking Spanish classes in Carrillo.  We enjoyed visiting with our hosts, Steve and Lavae.  They
were great!  We like the architecture of Mango and Papaya – the colors are great.  Wonderful mornings having coffee on the deck and sunsets overlooking the ocean were terrific too!

We are off to Carrillo for one week for more Spanish, a
river tour with Popo’s and perhaps turtles too.  This afternoon at low tide we are heading out to the island in sea
 kayaks with Christian our guide form the little shop down the hill (Tico Tours).  From here to Osa Penninsula (our
 next adventure).  Saludos & Pura Vida!

First nite at wonderful Casa Mango.  Reading Guest Book really helpful planning
 our next 9 days in paradise.  Minutes after reading about prior guests experiences with bugs & spiders we had our own encounter with huge tarantula spider on the wwall.  Luckily, after much drama, we found a broom and was able to sweep it from the house.  Better than TV back home!  We are
moving to the other house tomorrow for the rest of our vacation!

Beautiful setting, comfortable accommodations even for 4  people.  Enjoyed much **** El Dorado.
Make sure to talk to the owner/manager about the history of pizza.  Didn’t need mosquito net – too windy? – Carrillo beach is primo – first class but you may need to leave before 10:00 am
to get a good spot.  Gusto restaurant was good.  Be careful driving – at any time
especially in the night – watch out for people walking on the road – bikes without lights and stray dogs.
